Welcome Mat Sumo NOLA Edition is hosting another wonderful sumo event. BEER AND SUMO will be held on Saturday, May 4th at the Welcome Mat Mixed Martial Arts Academy in LaPlace, LA. For those who don’t know, this location is right outside of New Orleans, so it makes for a wonderful weekend getaway. André and Cody are multiple-time sumo national medalists, and they always make sure that EVERYONE has a good time at their events. I would highly recommend going!
BEER AND SUMO is scheduled to start at 4:30 PM. Spectators can watch live sumo and learn while drinking a cold one. Then, at 6:00 PM is the beginning of the SUMO JAMBOREE, where anyone can get in the ring. The cost of the event is $10, and you can read more information and buy tickets by clicking here.
